|Schoolies Week Events|
Schoolies is traditionally held on the Gold Coast but destinations such as Byron Bay, Sunshine Coast, Airlie Beach, Tropical North Queensland are also popular with school leavers.
Safer Schoolies events and activities are for Year 12 graduated or TAFE equivalent only. Access will be granted on proof of a valid Year 12 student photo ID. If a student photo ID is not available, alternative forms of ID may be considered, including a current passport, driver’s licence or 18+ Card. Remember: no ID – no access.

Gold Coast Schoolies Events
Schoolies wanting to access the official free Schoolies Hub on Surfers Paradise beach will need an official wristband. The wristband will be distributed on proof of Year 12 student photo ID.
Schoolies can collect an official wristband from the Wristband Distribution Centre located on the Esplanade parallel to the Surfers Paradise beach - near Cavill Avenue Mall.
Removing or sharing your wristband will make it invalid.
Sunshine Coast Schoolies Events
The Red Frogs will be present as will the Queensland Police to ensure a safe Schoolies experience.
Whitsundays Schoolies Events
Schoolies are required to register for the free events. Registration will occur in a clearly marked registration tent. Schoolies will receive a special Schoolies ID card on presentation of suitable photo ID.
