GENERAL
Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully as they summarise the basis on which bookings via 1800SCHOOLIES are accepted. Please note; you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon booking. If you need further clarification on these Terms and Conditions, please contact 1800SCHOOLIES prior to making a booking.
HOW TO BOOK
Book online at the 1800schoolies.com.au website or via our reservations staff on 1800 724 665.
All rates quoted are “per person” and are inclusive of GST and do not include bonds. A deposit per person is required to secure your reservation. If you would like to stay for more than 7 nights, it is possible to book 2 stays, but please be aware that these will be treated as two separate bookings and will require two separate bonds and deposits. Payment of this deposit will indicate acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of our accommodation packages.
MINORS
If you are under the age of 18 years of age, your parent or guardian must make the booking on your behalf. If a booking is made and not authorised by your parent or guardian, the deposit paid at the time of booking will be forfeited. By making a booking via 1800SCHOOLIES, whether or not on behalf of a minor, you are deemed to have accepted the Terms and Conditions.
THE ORGANISER
It is your responsibility as the Group Organiser to ensure that all members of your group have read and understood the Terms & Conditions as well as the House Rules. We expect that you have discussed any changes with your group as it is your duty to advise them. We are not responsible for any discrepancies between you and/or your roommates.
PAYMENTS
All payments can be made via the via the 1800SCHOOLIES website www.1800schoolies.com.au or with our reservations staff on 1800 724 665 by credit card or BPAY.
DEPOSIT
A non-refundable deposit of $200 per person must be received by us at time of booking. The minimum amount of deposits required for your chosen room type must be received upon making the reservation otherwise your booking will not be held. If you make multiple bookings to hold rooms you will not be refunded for any payments made on additional bookings. By paying a deposit you agree that you have read, understood and will be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you are making a booking within 60 days of your travel date then you are required to pay all amounts including the Bond at the time of booking.
FINAL PAYMENT
The final payment including all Bonds is due 60 days prior to your arrival date. It is your responsibility to ensure you make payment via the 1800SCHOOLIES website www.1800schoolies.com.au or by phoning reservations prior to the due date (60 days prior to arrival). If your booking is not paid in full by the due date 1800SCHOOLIES reserves the right to cancel the booking without notice. Please refer to the Cancellation section for full details.
**Please note: If your payment is overdue, the last Credit Card used to make a payment for a guest is the credit card that will be used to attempt to process your final payment. If you want to update the details of your credit card simply make another payment online at 1800schoolies.com.au
BONDS
A $200.00 Bond per person is required 60 days prior to check in. The Bond is held as security against any damage or undue wear and tear, additional cleaning, removal of excess rubbish, among other things. All damage, breakages and losses to property, furniture, keys or furnishings that exceed the paid Bond amount must be paid for by the group and will be automatically charged to the credit card of each guest. Any damage must be reported to the accommodation provider immediately. It is the responsibility of the group to leave the property clean and tidy and in the same condition or as close as possible to the condition when you commenced your stay.
Important: To register for the refund of your Bond, you are required to login to the 1800SCHOOLIES website www.1800schoolies.com.au with your username and password after check-out and enter the Bank Details (Name of Account, Bank, BSB and Account Number) you wish the Bond to be refunded to. You agree that it is your (the guests) responsibility to ensure this process is completed and the details you provide are accurate. If the details you provide are inaccurate, fees will apply. Please see the Amendments & Fees section for more information. Bonds will be available for refund approximately 14 days after your refund registration date, provided they have been given clearance from the accommodation houses concerned. Bonds will not be returned by any other means.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation arrangements are based on using existing bedding. This may mean sharing a double bed. If this is not suitable you may be able to hire a fold out bed at your expense.
1800SCHOOLIES makes every effort to ensure that the description of facilities and services of the hotels and apartments we sell is accurate, however these are continually being changed, upgraded and on occasion taken out of service. We cannot be held liable for omissions, errors or alterations to a properties facilities and services whether temporary or permanent. Any special requests made to properties cannot be guaranteed. Most of our apartments are privately owned and not operated by the resort management.
Our accommodation has a minimum and maximum person limit for each room type. The number of persons allowed per room is listed on the building information page. If you need to change buildings or apartments due to insufficient persons per room you will incur a $50 amendment fee. *Please see the Amendments & Fees section for more details. Rooms may not exceed the maximum persons allowed due to fire and safety regulations. If you are found to have exceeded the maximum persons allowed 1800SCHOOLIES and/or or the Offsite Managers reserves the right to evict you / the group from the apartment and the building.

Travel documents will be emailed to you on booking.

All guests are required to download, complete and return the following forms prior to the 1st September.

PHOTOS
All guests are required to upload a passport quality photo (or similar) prior to the 1st September for their 1800SCHOOLIES Building Pass.
This means the photo must:
- Be a clear image of no less than 200KB
- Be in colour
- Show only one person in the frame from the shoulders up, showing their full face for identification purposes
- Not have sunglasses, silly/inappropriate faces, eyes closed etc
Failure to do so or misuse of photo uploading will result in fees. Please see the Amendments & Fees section for more information.
HOUSE RULES
House Rules are the individual accommodation provider’s Terms & Conditions. By confirming your booking you and all members of your group agree to abide by these House Rules for your stay.
AMENDMENTS, FEES & CANCELLATIONS
AMENDMENTS & FEES
You can make the following amendments to your booking via your login details via the 1800SCHOOLIES website www.1800schoolies.com.au: Contact email, Mobile / Contact Phone No, Emergency Phone No, Date of Birth, Admin Password and Make Payments.
If you fail to submit your photos and forms by the 1st September the following fees will apply.
Forms: A $30 fee will apply per person.
Photos: A $50 fee will apply per person. Misuse of photo uploading will incur an extra $30 fee.
If you wish to make any of the following changes, fees will apply:
Change the name of a group member - there will be a $50 amendment fee.
Cancel a group member - that person will forfeit their deposit.
We must be notified by the organiser as well as by the guest who is cancelling. If we are notified in writing that the person cancelling is being replaced by a new person entering the group, the deposit can then be transferred to the new person. The person affecting a booking shall be deemed to have accepted and by making the booking represents to us that he/she is authorised to accept the booking conditions on behalf of all persons named in the booking. A $50 fee will apply to change persons.
Change buildings, room types or dates once a deposit has been received - you will incur a $50 amendment fee per person, per change.
Amendments must be notified in writing via email by all roommates. Any building change will be subject to availability. No change of buildings, names or apartments or other travel arrangements is permitted within 60 days prior to travel.
1800SCHOOLIES or the Offsite Managers do not take responsibility over any discrepancies between roommates in regards to these changes.
Bond: If the refund details provided to us are inaccurate and paid to an incorrect person and/or account, you will need to contact your bank to rectify this. If the bank details are inaccurate and the payment cannot be processed, a $5 administration fee will apply per attempt.
CANCELLATIONS
More than 60 days prior to travel - all monies paid will be forfeited.
Less than 60 days prior to travel - 100% of the total cost will be forfeited.
Cancellations must be notified in writing or via email by the guest whose booking is being cancelled. 1800SCHOOLIES is not responsible for advising any other members of the group that a person in their party has cancelled.
No refunds will be given for an early check-out.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
1800SCHOOLIES strongly recommend you purchase Travel Insurance at the time of booking. This is available to book online at www.1800schoolies.com.au. If, having purchased the policy, you want to return it, you can do so within 14 days of receiving the Certificate of Insurance and obtain a full refund, provided no right or power has been exercised under it by you (e.g. no claim has been made) and your trip has not commenced.
PRICES
The prices stated are “per person” and quoted in the stipulated currency throughout the website. They are inclusive of GST where applicable. 1800SCHOOLIES reserves the right to amend prices at any time without notice. Charges and Fees are subject to change, therefore the package price may vary between time of deposit and time of final payment.
RELATIONSHIP
1800SCHOOLIES is operated by LeisureCom Travel Group. 1800SCHOOLIES and LeisureCom organises and arranges the accommodation pursuant to contractual arrangements it has with apartment managers and owners. 1800SCHOOLIES and LeisureCom does not occupy or have any control over any hotel or apartment and as such is not liable for any damage or loss, whether to person or property and howsoever arising, to any person who has booked accommodation through 1800SCHOOLIES. 1800SSCHOOLIES and LeisureCom cannot guarantee the availability of accommodation and does reserve the right to change bookings. Although bookings for apartments are managed by 1800SCHOOLIES and LeisureCom, the final decision as to the availability of the unit for rental rests with the owners and Offsite Managers. Should owners withdraw their units from the rental pool, 1800SCHOOLIES and LeisureCom will use its best endeavours to offer alternative accommodation at no extra cost to those whose bookings have been affected. If 11800SCHOOLIES and LeisureCom concludes that it is not able to offer alternative accommodation, those whose bookings have been affected will be entitled to a refund of any monies paid.
1800SCHOOLIES and LeisureCom organises travel arrangements as agents on behalf of their principals and shall not be liable under any circumstances for any failure by those principals to fulfil such travel arrangements nor for any alteration or change of any kind made by those principals following the acceptance of the booking by them and you will be responsible at all times for any increases and any changes imposed by those principals. 1800SCHOOLIES and LeisureCom both for itself and on the behalf of their employees or agents do not accept any responsibility for any act, omission, default or neglect of themselves, their employees or agents for injury, damage, or loss to persons or goods whatsoever or however the same may be caused and they do not warrant and are in no way responsible for the accuracy of any information given in statement made by their principals in terms of travel arrangement. 1800SCHOOLIES and LeisureCom reserves the right to at any time and in its absolute discretion modify any accommodation or travel arrangements and to cancel the same without notice. The information you provide may be used to send information to you on products of interest. 1800SCHOOLIES only accepts instructions on the above terms.
DOMESTIC TRAVEL SERVICES
Flights: As a convenience we assist our clients with airline flights and in particular our preferred air line carrier Virgin Blue. Please be advised that you are booking and paying directly to the airline carrier and any issues with your booking must be addressed with the particular airline you booked with. All details of your booking and contact information will be on your booking confirmation that is provided to you by the airline you booked with.
Car Hire: As a convenience we assist our clients with holiday car rentals and in particular our preferred car rental company EuropCar. Please be advised that you are booking and paying directly to the car hire company and any issues with your booking must be addressed with the particular car hire company you booked with. All details of your booking and contact information will be on your booking confirmation that is provided to you by the car rental company you booked with.
Travel Insurance: As a convenience we assist our clients with travel insurance through QBE. Please be advised that the travel insurance you are purchasing is being bought and paid directly to QBE and any issues with your travel insurance policy must be addressed directly with QBE. The copy of the travel insurance policy you purchased is provided by QBE.
